Slide Core
|
|
A part that slides inward upon opening and closing of the mold.
It works on the undercut process along with mold opening / closing movement to
mold the undercut of a part.
The larger the undercut becomes, the longer an angular pin needs to be and the
more the movement of the slide core will be; therefore it may not be easily used.
The slide core moves to avoid retreating by injection pressure at the locking
block when closing the mold and at the core stop block when opening the mold.
In between them, an angular pin controls the movement of the slide core.
